The trade volume between Turkey and Italy over the last five years has reached nearly $93 billion.
According to data compiled by The Anatolian Correspondent, Italy ranked fourth among the most imported countries from Turkey last year, and third among the most exported products to Turkey.
The data showed that Turkey's exports to Italy in the last five years amounted to $41.802 billion, while the volume of exports reached $50 billion and 928 million dollars.
The data indicated that the volume of trade between the two countries in the last five years reached 92 billion and 731 million dollars.
Trade between Turkey and Italy last year reached 17.912 billion dollars, according to the data.
Turkey's exports to Italy in 2019 topped the list of exports to Italy in 2019, accounting for about 25 percent of exports, amounting to $2.3 billion.
The data indicated that the machinery sector topped Turkey's imports from Italy, amounting to $1.19 billion.
